Sponsorship & InitiativesSPC Ardmona supports various causes within the community through our ‘Community Care’ program. The objective of the Community Care Program is to provide food aid to the hungry, financial aid to the distressed and assistance to other non-profit organisations operating in the community. We have also operated Share-A-Can (S-A-C) since 1997, resulting in the donation of about $10,000,000 worth of S-A-C product being produced and donated to charities such as Vic Relief Committee, Foodbank Vic, St Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army. In 2006 S-A-C also despatched 44 pallets of S-A-C Hampers to Innisfail following the cylone that devastated the area. We recognise our responsibility to support our local growers through the ongoing drought and have offered assistance through providing interest free water grants with an additional top up of an extra 1,500 megalitres of entitlements together with seasonal subsidies on fruit. We are also proud to actively support and sponsor a number of community programs in the Goulburn Valley/Shepparton area.
